Portrait of a Distant Land

This two-part documentary follows Ricky Maynard, one of Australia’s foremost Photographers and an Aboriginal man from Flinders Island. As Ricky travels around Tasmania and the islands he tells an important story about the true history of his people. The film culminates with an exhibition of his work at the Musee du Quai Branly in Paris.
