Roar was commissioned to do an extensive report on the potential for historic interpretation of Tasmania’s Northern Midlands. As ‘proof of concept’ for Roar’s recommendations, they created an Augmented Reality app to help tell the untold stories of the ‘grassy woodlands’. This is seen as the first step in turning the Northern Midlands into one of Australia’s best interpreted regions presenting Aboriginal, colonial, and agricultural history in vibrant, engaging and surprising ways.
